The Family Experience
Your family is constantly growing and changing. Whether you add another sweet baby or your kids get older as the years go by, every season is important to document so you can look back and remember them just as they are now.
When you do a family session with me, my goal is to capture the love and joy that is unique to your family. Yes, I want to get photos of the whole family smiling at the camera, but more importantly I want to get photos of the genuine interactions within your family. Those sweet kisses on your cheek, the snuggles into your shoulder, the silly faces, the laughter, and the fun that you have together. During your family session I will give you fun prompts & games to help you relax and play with each other. You can rest assured that your family is in good hands with me and that I will give you precious memories of this season to cherish for the rest of your life.
Family is not an important thing.

I will give you all the information you need to know before you book your session, including everything that I offer and how the entire process works. I am here to serve you from the time you reach out to way after you receive your photos and artwork.
1. Say Hello
Hooray, you've decided to book your family session with me! We will pick a date when you and I will send you a family session agreement and an invoice for the retainer to hold your date on my calendar. Once that has been signed and the retainer is paid your session is officially booked!
2. Schedule it
After your session date is booked, I will send you my Family Session Guide that includes an in-depth Style Guide for the whole family. If you would like to see what I have available for moms in my Client Closet I will send you pictures that you can look through and choose from. We will also choose a location for the session and I have several locations that I am happy to recommend to you.
I highly recommend professional hair and makeup for moms and I have a fantastic makeup artist that I can recommend to you.
3. Planning it
Prepare to come to your session and have fun! I will tell you exactly how to pose, where to look, and what to do with your hands... you don't have to worry about a thing! I will also give you fun prompts to encourage genuine interaction and laughter with each other. If you have a specific request for a few images I am more than happy to accommodate those as well.
4. Your Session
Within 3 weeks after your session date, I will send you an online gallery of edited images. You can choose the ones you love or purchase additional images - whatever you prefer! I also have an online store connected to the gallery where you can order high-quality heirloom photo products to hang on your wall or gift to your loved ones. Don't let your memories sit on a hard drive on your computer or hidden in a drawer. If you need help on what products or sizes would look best in your home, I am here to be your guide!
5. Your Photographs

Family Sessions include up to an hour long session at a location of your choice from my recommend locations or one of your own. Moms can choose their outfit from my Client Closet of over 20 beautiful, timeless style dresses. I also have a growing collection of dresses for little girls available as well. A Session Guide is included with in depth style recommendations for the whole family as well as tips on how to prepare the kiddos on the day of the session.
